Dr Eleasa was born in Toronto, Canada and made the big move “Down Under” in 2009 to study medicine in Brisbane. She completed her medical internship in Bundaberg & Hervey Bay before moving to the Sunshine Coast to complete her GP training. She received her RACGP fellowship in 2017.
Dr Eleasa has just completed 6 months at our sister clinic, Manly Village Medical and will be at Baywest Medical Centre for 6 months.
She has particular interests in woman’s health and mental health. She has completed the RANZOG (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) Diploma & has completed Level 2 Mental Health Skill Training with the Australian Society for Psychological Medicine so is able to offer extended consultations for Focussed Psychological Skills.
Eleasa’s heretage is Chinese, her family having emigrated to Canada from Hong Kong. She speaks Cantonese Chinese, and enjoys running, reading theology and checking out new places to eat.
