Sirous Momenzadeh, PhD ( Psychologist)
Dr Momenzadeh completed a PhD at the University of Queensland (Australia) in 2000 and started working as a registered psychologist in 2005 at a community mental health service in Brisbane, Qld Health.
Sirous enjoys helping his clients explore their own strengths in order to improve their quality of life, and live based on their own values and goals. Clients learn to focus on what they can change; handle difficult feelings and thoughts more effectively, and to regain confidence in making choices to live a meaningful life.
Dr Momenzadeh has extensive training in mindfulness based therapies and uses evidence based approaches such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy ( CFT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution-focused brief Therapy (SFBT) in helping individuals, families, couples and adolescents. Dr Momenzadeh has also an interest in working with clients who are on the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or have symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and he provides coaching to the families of these clients as well.

Sirous has more than 14 years of experience working at both public and private sector. He is a senior psychologist with Qld Health, and works part time in private practice. He is an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and as an accredited supervising psychologist, he is passionate about providing supervision to other psychologists including post graduate students.
